Day 13: El Futbol

This morning the boys organized themselves to donate cleats and soccer balls at Sor Maria Romero as well as organize both a morning practice as well as an afternoon practice to accommodate all of the students interested in starting a team.  Our boys did fairly well using the cones we brought and getting a wide range of students to complete a series of drills with a focus on "the give-and-go".  At the end of practice, our boys played a close game but lost 2-1.  This was good practice for our big game on Monday at the Aldea.

After coaching, we dropped by the leather shop for our boys to pick up their custom made boots.  Needless to say, they were very pleased with their souvenirs.
Now that is custom made to order!

Tomorrow we leave early for Managua where the boys will get a VIP tour of the Supreme Court.
