Day 5: Working Toward Mastery

The boys waiting for the bus to the Aldea

The boys certainly earned a break this morning, so we met up for community service this afternoon.  While yesterday was extremely successful for both the boys and their students, the goal today was to do more, do it better, and be more efficient.  With that goal in mind, the boys executed perfectly.  It was beautiful to hear entire classes reciting the alphabet or numbers from 1-20, or their colors as we walked from class to class checking in on them.  The theme of the day seemed to be to break the classes up into smaller groups at least for part of the time.  It is clear that the boys are forging some strong bonds with their students, and we could not be more proud of their efforts.
